The Next of Kin is someone you designate who can be contacted regarding your loan information and can represent you in the event that you are unable to fulfill your repayment obligations. When selecting your Next of Kin, it is highly recommended that you choose someone who is closely related to you and who is familiar with your financial situation.

By following these steps, you can successfully add Next of Kin information to your Standard Life account

Step 1: Log In to Your Account:

Open a browser and search for the Standard Life Rwanda website ( www.standardlife.org.rw). On the homepage, click on the "Get A Loan Now" button and it will take you to the login page
On the login page, fill out the form by entering your current phone number and password to access your account. If you log in successfully, you will be redirected to the home page. Scroll down to the "Updating Next of Kin Information" section and click on it to continue.

Step 2: Add Next of kin information

Complete the form by filling in all the required fields, then click "Save Changes." A confirmation screen will appear, displaying the information you entered, along with a "Return to Dashboard" button.

It’s important to have a discussion with the person you intend to name as your Next of Kin. Make sure they are aware of their role and understand what may be expected of them.
