How to Sign Up on the Standard Life Rwanda Website

Step-by-step guide on how to sign up on the Standard Life  website

1. Visit the  Website: Open a browser and search for the Standard Life Rwanda website ( www.standardlife.org.rw)

2. Locate the get loan button:  On the homepage, look for the button that says, "Get A Loan Now" and click on it, it will take you to the signup page or you can access the signup page directly by clicking here

3. Start the Registration Process: Click on the "Sign Up" button to begin the registration process.

On the signup page fill out your phone number and click the get started button. You will receive a One-Time Password via SMS on your mobile phone

4. Verify OTP
You can open your inbox and check the message for the OTP code, it is a one-time password of 6 digits and expires after 10 minutes. if it is not working or has expired you can resend a new one by clicking on the Resend code.

4.  Create Password:  Please create a secret password for your account and make sure it matches our system requirements.

- Password should be at least 8 characters 

- it should contain letters,  at least 1 capital letter, and a small letter

- it should contain a symbol [@,#,!] and numbers

5. Provide Personal Information: on the Customer Registration page please fill out the form field with your personal information.

• Last Name
• Gender
• Marital status
• Date of Birth
• Email Address
• Street Address
• Sector
• District
• Province
• PIN

6. Smile ID Verification

The Smile ID verification process involves a crucial step where the user's face is checked against their identity document to verify that they are indeed the account owner. This step ensures that the provided information is accurate and authentic.  

•  please follow the following steps  indicated on the image to verify your smile ID

1. click on  the verify smile ID button

b. Allow the application to access your camera and click take a selfie picture

c. Review your selfie picture,  make sure your face is clear, and confirm it

d. A picture of your identity document (ID)  front side part

e. A picture of your identity document (ID)  back side part

f.  Submit your  smile ID Verification

• You have finished all the steps for customer onboarding, by clicking on the button you will be redirected back to the login page.  Please log into your account and continue with the loan application process.
