How To Reset Or Forgot Your Account Password

At Standard Life, we prioritize the security of your account by employing multiple authentication methods. These include OTP (One-Time Password) verification, login passwords, and transaction PINs, ensuring your account is protected from unauthorized access. 

A person might need to reset their account password for several reasons, one of the most common reasons is simply forgetting the password.

If you've forgotten your account password, there are a few general steps you can follow to recover or reset it:

1. Visit the  Website: Open a browser and search for the Standard Life Rwanda website ( www.standardlife.org.rw)

2. Locate the Get Loan button:  On the homepage, click on the "Get A Loan Now" button and it will take you to the sign-in page  or you can access the sign-in page  directly by clicking here

3. Look for the "Forgot Password" link: On the login page, please locate and click on the "Forgot Password" link. 

4. Enter Your Phone Number to Reset Your Password:  After clicking on the Forgot Password link you will be prompted with a new screen to enter a mobile number associated with your account.  please fill in the required field and click on the "Reset password" button to continue.  

5. Verify OTP Code: For security purposes, Standard Life ensures your account is protected from unauthorized access. We need to verify that you are the account owner. Please open the message inbox on your phone, check for the OTP code, and verify it here .  

7. Create a New Password: On the password reset page, you'll be asked to create a new password. Make sure to choose a strong password that you haven't used before. A strong password generally consists of a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Your password has been successfully changed. You can now use your new password to log in to your account.
